Baumgartner, Garner Pass CPA Exams
Lei Shen Baumgartner and Bradley Griffin Garner were among 89 North Carolina candidates to pass the Uniform CPA Examination, according to the N.C. State Board of Certified Public Accountants.

The exam tests knowledge and skills in four major areas – auditing and attestation, financial accounting and reporting, regulation, and business environments and concepts.

Successful Uniform CPA Examination candidates must now meet the education, work experience and moral character requirements of the board to become licensed as CPAs in the state of North Carolina.

The State Board of CPA Examiners is an occupational licensing board that grants certificates of qualification as CPAs to those who meet the legal requirements. The board, an independent state agency, also adopts and enforces the rules of professional ethics and conduct.
